The workshop explores the performance of North American string band music, including bluegrass, old-time, and more. We will cover playing, singing, improvising, recording, and songwriting/arrangement. Students should have basic facility on a string instrument. No other experience is required. The group meets Tuesdays 7-8pm.  Those interested in enrolling should contact Liza Flood (ejs6yc@virginia.edu).
