Latecomer Policy

Latecomer policy varies with each event. We advise that you arrive at least forty five minutes before a performance if you need to purchase tickets or pick up tickets from Will Call, and at least a half an hour prior if you already have tickets. Auditorium doors open a half hour before concert start time. In most instances, our doors are shut at the start of the performance and will not be reopened until the first piece has finished. At this time, you will only be allowed into the balcony, even if your seats are on the main level. For some concerts, you will not be admitted to the Hall until intermission. We recommend that you arrive on time, allowing extra time to park and reach Old Cabell Hall from the parking lot.

Please note: no food, drinks, cameras, or other recording devices are allowed in the Auditorium. Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the building. As a courtesy to artists and other patrons, please silence all electronic devices entering the auditorium. If you need to be reached in case of emergency, please leave your seat location with a house manager.
