For the Chamber Music Seminar Recital, many talented young musicians come together perform numerous works that they have perfected over the course of the semester, under the direction of faculty musicians. Chamber music ensembles give students an opportunity to experience major works outside of the archetypal large orchestra setting, allowing students to hone their knowledge of what they contribute to their ensembles' performances. Students greatly improve their individual performance skills in a manner that is completely unique to working in these smaller and focused chamber music ensembles.
Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda (map). Parking is available in the Central Grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Road, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
All programs are subject to change.
